I live in South Florida and it is so important to protect your skin from the sun when you will be outside for long periods of time. However, have you ever read what is inside your sunscreen? I read the ingredients and couldn't even pronounce half of the them. They are full of toxins, chemicals, and parabens. Most sunscreens may actually be more harmful than the sun!
My sunscreen is smooth, goes on easily and rubs in nicely. It has an SPF of about 30. This is due to the natural SPF of Shea Butter (6-10) and coconut oil (4-10) and zinc oxide. This sunscreen is waterproof because of the beeswax (from my own beehives). I am also using a non nano zinc oxide in this recipe.
Apply generously to skin. Repeat after swimming.
